Sanford Sheldon Medical Center offers a state-of-the-art Wellness Center to help maintain and enhance the physical well-being of the people served by Sanford Sheldon Medical Center. The Wellness Center also provides general inpatient and outpatient wellness services.

MEMBERSHIP FEATURES:

Health Assessment for All New Members (Personal Health History, Blood Pressure, Target Heart Rate, Body Fat %)

Assistance in Setting Appropriate Wellness Goals, Orientation to Facilities including all exercise equipment

State-of-the-Art Exercise & Strength Training Equipment, with Wheelchair Accessible Equipment Available

"Health From Our Heart" Newsletter, our very own publication designed specifically for our members

Access to Video Tape and Book Library (including materials on Exercise, Smoking Cessation, Parenting, etc.)

Optional Participation in Various Fitness & Health Screens offered at designated times throughout the year.

Unlimited Participation in Aerobics & other Exercise Classes (included in membership price, except in cases where special equipment is needed). Class offerings to include such topics as Circuit Training, Weight Lifting Technique, Yoga (Safe Stretching), Low Impact Aerobics & FitBall classes (to name a few)

Periodic Competitions and Incentive Programs (with prizes awarded)

Optional Personalized Exercise Prescription developed by Personal Trainer, Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist ($20 to members, $40 to non-members for 3/4 hour session)

Seminars on Variety of Topics (Stress Management, Nutrition, Osteoporosis, etc.) , held periodically

Qualified Staff – including Certified Personal Trainer/Physical Fitness Specialist, Certified Health Promotion Director, Licensed Physical Therapists, Licensed Massage Therapist

MEMBERSHIP RATES:
Single - $29.00 monthly, $232.00 annual (includes tax)
(Single defined as an individual at least 12 years of age)

Couple - $35.00 monthly, $280.00 annual (includes tax)

Family - $42.00 monthly, $336.00 annual (includes tax)
(Family defined as husband, wife, and/or dependent children under age 19)

Single Use Fee - $4.00 (includes tax) single use is independent exercise or exercise class

Exercise Punch Card – 8 punches for $24.00, 16 / $42.50, 32 / $68.00 (includes tax)

Senior Citizens (55+) - Single / $25.00 monthly, $198.00 annual, or Couple / $31.50 monthly, $252.00 annual


Student Rates – $16.50 monthly, $125.50 annual (Must be enrolled on a full time basis)

Corporate Rates - discounted rates are available for participating corporations (payroll deduction also)


MASSAGE THERAPY SERVICES:

Non- Member rate- $48.00/hr Member discounted rate- $43.00/ hr

Non-Member rate - $30.00/ ½ hr Member discounted rate- $25.00/ ½ hour

Mary Winchester is a Licensed Massage Therapist with many years of Physical Therapy experience. She has worked extensively with those individuals who have chronic pain, fibromyalgia and other muscle disorders. Mary is available day and evening hours.
